Your research day
Every year it is that time again: the PhD or research day. An event with excellent goals but with a, let’s face it, sleep-inducing effect. It is a missed opportunity that takes a lot of time, money and preparation. Is there an alternative, so that your PhD day is no longer in the line of ‘Argh, time lost again’? Yes!
We create a research day in which interaction and inspiration are central, with a pinch of Sound of Science festival atmosphere, both online, on location and in hybrid form. Curious what it might look like?
Sound of Science
Toon Verlinden founded the largest outdoor science festival in Belgium in 2017, together with Hetty Helsmoortel. The place to be for nerds, geeks, and their friends and family. Think booths, food trucks, music, a terrific atmosphere, and an impressive load of science.
The Battle of the Scientists
Hans Van de Water started the Battle of the Scientists in 2015, a thrilling show where researchers present their work to primary school children. The children give feedback and vote for the best presentation. The Battle of the Scientists is established in English, Dutch (Wetenschapsbattle) and French (Choc des Scientifiques).
