Join our Poster Showcase and expand the reach of your poster
Who will make it into the Poster Hall of Fame?
Share a scientific poster you already created before 20 November, and who knows: you might land a spot in the Poster Hall of Fame!

Scientific posters are the silent workhorses of a conference. You hang them, hope someone stops by, and afterwards they often disappear into a digital drawer. A shame, if you ask us. Because a great poster can do much more: spark curiosity, start conversations, and make your research visible in a clear way.
That’s why we are launching the very first The Floor is Yours Poster Showcase: a showcase for researchers who want to give their poster a second life and inspire others.
Why participate?
👉 More visibility for your research
Your existing poster gets renewed attention, even beyond your own field.
👉 Inspire others
Show that scientific posters don’t have to be boring or incomprehensible.
👉 Valuable feedback and inspiration
From all submissions, we’ll select ten posters for our Poster Hall of Fame. Each of these top-10 posters will receive feedback from us: what makes it strong, and where there’s still room for improvement.
The Poster Hall of Fame is a website by The Floor is Yours where everyone can go to find strong poster examples. We’ll also feature it in our workshops and write a blog post about it, shared with thousands of researchers.

Together we’re building a growing library of inspiration: a collection of poster gems that can help and inspire researchers year after year when creating their own poster.
What do we ask from you?
Submit by 20 November a poster you previously made for a conference, research day, seminar, …
Along with your poster, answer these questions:
- Who was the target audience for your poster?
- What was your experience at the poster fair: what worked, what challenges did you face?
- What is the key message you want us to remember from your poster?

(Oh, and just to be clear: we’re not looking for those “is-it-a-paper-or-is-it-a-poster?” types of posters. But you probably guessed that already.)

Why we do this
With this contest we want to inspire and support researchers. Posters are an important, yet often underestimated communication tool. By highlighting strong examples, we show that it is possible: a poster that is clear, attractive, and effective.
And yes, it’s also our way of supporting researchers in making better posters. Not only through our workshops and our book Stand Out with your Scientific Poster, but now also with this Poster Showcase. Because the more researchers create strong posters, the better for all of us.
